Sonia from El Salvador shares with us a great snack!

Churrasco Salvadoreño with Artisan Cheese

Ingredients:

1 Pound of pork loin

Tomatoes

Onion

Cilantro

Avocado and San Julian Artisan Cheese

Instructions:

1-Prepare the chirimol by finely chopping tomato, onion and cilantro, then mix all those ingredients in a bowl and set aside for a few minutes.

2-Then prepare the casamiento by placing cooked rice in a hot pan, and add a cup of cooked beans with its liquid.

3-Mix both ingredients in the skillet and cook until dry; turn off the heat and set aside for a few minutes.

4-Heat a skillet or griddle until a drop evaporates as it falls, then take a beef steak and drain it well with a kitchen towel. Rub it with a teaspoon of oil and a pinch of pepper and put it on the griddle. 5-Cook about 5-6 minutes per side (depending on desired doneness). Turn only once and set aside.

6-With a fork or toothpick, prick the chorizos several times. Then place them on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

7-Cut the avocado in half and remove the seed and scoop out the flesh with a spoon or fork. Now you can serve everything on a single plate.

Chloe from England sent in some beautiful and delicious looking cupcakes! Love the flower on top! A very spring vibe!

Ingredients:

110g Butter, softened

110g golden caster sugar

2 eggs

1tsp vanilla extract

110g self-raising flour

1-2 tbsp milk, plus a little extra for the icing

For the icing:

125g butter, softened.

185g Icing sugar

Toppings:

edible sugar flowers (or whatever you want :)

Method:

Step 1 - Heat oven to 180C/160C Fan/gas 4. Line 12 holes in a shallow muffin tin with cupcake cases (not muffin cases). Cream the butter and the sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy. beat the eggs and vanilla in a jug then beat into the butter mixture a little at a time.

Step 2 - Fold the flour into the mixture along with a little milk - the mixture should fall easily off a spoon. divide the mixture between the cases, filling each one no more than half full.

Step 3 - Cook the cakes for 12-15 minutes - they should be firm to the touch and slightly golden brown. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes then lift them out gently and leave to cool completely.

Step 4 - To make the icing beat the butter until its very soft. beat in the icing sugar a little at a time then beat in a splash of the milk as you need to give yourself a soft icing that can be piped easily. scrape the icing into an icing bag fitted with a star nozzle. Ice the cakes in swirls, starting in the centre and working outwards.

WOW! What a stunning cake! This is an amazing recipe sent in by Maéva from France.

Strawberry whipped cream mascarpone

Ingredients (8 people): -

60cl of whole liquid fresh cream -

450g mascarpone -

120g icing sugar (or more for gourmets) - Vanilla -

500g strawberries -

Flaked almonds, -

Strawberry juice

Ingredients for the sponge cake: - 130g of flour - 130 g of sugar - 1/2 baking powder - 4 eggs - 1 pinch of salt

• Preparation of the sponge cake: Separate the whites from the yolks. Whip the whites with a pinch of salt. Once the egg whites are firm, add the sugar to stiffen the egg whites. Add the eggs and mix. Immediately add the flour and baking powder. Bake in your oven for 20 to 25 minutes depending on the oven at 180°C.

• Preparation of whipped cream: Put the mascarpone and liquid cream in the bowl of your food processor. Reserve in the fridge with the whisk of the food processor. After half an hour, take out of the fridge and whip the whipped cream, adding the icing sugar and vanilla.

• Preparing for assembly : Cut 3 discs of sponge cake. Soak them with strawberry juice (if you don't have strawberry juice, a little water and orange blossom will suffice) Spread a good layer of cream on the 1st disc. Add whole or diced strawberries and slivered almonds. Place the 2nd disk of sponge cake and repeat the operation. Cover the edges with whipped cream and decorate as desired.

Enjoy your food !

This next recipe was sent in by Gabs from Mexico! these cookies look great! and super easy to make.

They are chocolate chip cookies, they are made in the microwave oven and they are ready in 2 minutes

-6 tablespoons of sugar

-1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

-1 beaten egg (we will use only 1/2)

-A pinch of salt.

-65 gr of melted butter

-10 tablespoons of wheat flour.

-Butter to grease

- Chocolate chips

Place the brown sugar, add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of vanilla essence for dessert. On the other hand, we beat an egg and add half to the sugar and mix with a spoon; no need to beat. We melt the butter in the microwave, in 20 or 30 seconds we will have it ready and we also pour it into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients.Mix until everything is homogeneous.

Now add the flour and mix with a spoon until everything is well mixed and the flour has been completely integrated. If the dough is very hard, add a little more of the beaten egg. On the contrary, if it is very liquid, keep it in the refrigerator for a while until the butter hardens. Now we are going to take a plate suitable for the microwave, grease it very well with the butter.

With the help of a spoon we take portions of dough, round them with our hands and then place them on the plate and crush them a bit, decorating them with colored chocolates in my case. Do not place many cookies, 4 or 5 will be fine and with a good separation between them. We put them in the microwave at about 750 or 800 W and leave them for only 1 minute, open the microwave door and let them cool for a few seconds to lose heat (30 seconds are enough). And again we leave 30 more seconds at the same power. Remove very carefully so as not to burn yourself from the microwave and let them cool completely on the same plate. With the help of a spatula or a knife, we detach the cookies when they are cold and we have them ready to eat.

Lastly we have a recipe shared with us by the lovely Gio from Brazil!

these are kisses "beijinho" In Portuguese, it is a very famous recipe in Brazil and since my grandmother and mother always made it at parties and it brings back good memories, I come here to teach you how to make them.

-First of all we need condensed milk - a can, a tablespoon of unsalted butter and grated coconut.

-We must put the three ingredients in the pan over medium heat.

-We must mix the mixture with a spatula until it thickens so that we can take it out of pan and pass it to another container to cool down.

-Then we make little balls with the mixture and we put coconut grated and done
